Long-term visitors prize the tranquil upstairs location and skilled practitioners like Khans and Khosi, especially for Thai and remedial work. Loyalty runs deep for those who book the right therapist. However, recent complaints centre on pressure misjudgement, poor handling of requests for gentleness, and one guest required casualty care after a session. Facility wear (holes in floors, perished towels) and sluggish management response to formal complaints have left several customers disappointed.
Strong five-star reviews praise skilled therapists and an authentic Thai environment, but a pattern of one-star complaints reveals serious service inconsistencies. Several clients report therapists finishing sessions early without adjustment, long unexplained waits, and boundary issues during treatment.
Most visits result in genuine relaxation and skilled therapist work, with staff warmth standing out. Specific therapists like Angel, Phindile and Skylar earn repeat praise for attentiveness. However, gaps in follow-through have cost long-time customers: acrylic nails failed within days, treatments ran short of booked time, and complaints were met with dismissal rather than solutions. The experience varies notably between individual therapists and across visits.
When the right therapist treats you, Camelot delivers genuine relaxation and relief. Reviewers with positive experiences highlight skilled hands (especially Busi and Lungile), thoughtful welcome rituals, warm rooms, and real pain management results. The downside is stark inconsistency: some sessions feel rushed, therapists in training, heat bags that smell unpleasant, and one reviewer encountered a hard sales pitch mid-massage followed by a curt dismissal. At premium prices, customers expect consistency, and several felt disappointed when they did not get it. Stronger feedback came from those celebrating milestones or returning during quieter times. The venue itself impresses, the tea and snacks set a good tone, and when therapists are experienced, guests leave glowing. But quality shifts based on who books your slot, and complaints about therapist training, hygiene oversights, and how conflict is handled suggest gaps in supervision.
