Apogee draws frequent praise for striking design, accomplished cooking, and staff who anticipate guest needs well. Some recent visits have dimmed this record: guests report dirty glassware, forgotten breakfast items, noisy neighbours left unmanaged, and a softer attention to detail than reputation suggests. Billing discrepancies over breakfast inclusion have also surfaced.

Most guests praise the location, clean rooms, and breakfast, with many returning multiple times. However, recent stays have been marred by unresponsive reception staff, rooms going uncleaned during longer stays, and a water shortage that left guests without running water for multiple nights.
