Walking into Body Beautiful feels like stepping into calm. Therapists like Lee, Emma, and Melissa listen closely, adjust pressure mid-treatment, and check comfort constantly. The space itself draws praise: quiet, pristine, elegant. Head spa treatments stand out, with hair blow-dry included.
Specific services earn repeat bookings. Facials, massages, and nail work impress; the team knows their craft. Staff greet you warmly and remember you. A few reviewers note booking hiccups and slow email replies, but these are exceptions in a body of overwhelmingly five-star feedback about the actual treatment experience.
Most reviewers describe attentive staff and meaningful therapy, with many citing Doctor Maharaj, Doctor Uvir, and therapist Angelique as instrumental to recovery. However, several mention poor food quality, mildew in rooms, and unclear house rules; one guest reported no improvement in mental health and deterioration post-stay.
Patients report noticeable results from treatments, with some noting the center feels like a sanctuary compared to typical clinical spaces. Therapists Melissa and Amla are repeatedly mentioned for their technique and experience. The practice offers massage, lymphatic drainage, cupping, and Reiki from its quiet Durban North location.
Positive reviews celebrate the spa's tranquil setting, attentive therapists like Phumzile and Nosipho, and professional massage work. However, recent feedback flags staff changes degrading quality, package money kept when services aren't delivered, and a manager described as unhelpful with an owner unresponsive to complaints.
